Once you\u2019ve made your Official Decisions and set the Funding Amounts, you\u2019ll need to make those decisions known to the Applicants.<\/strong><\/div>\n

How It Works<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the ZoomGrants™ system, there\u2019s a difference between telling<\/em> your Applicants the status of their applications (via email, phone, snail mail, word of mouth, Pony Express, etc.) and \u2018notifying<\/em><\/strong>\u2018 your Applicants of the status of their applications. When Applicants are truly \u2018notified\u2019, they can see<\/em> the Official Decision in their ZoomGrants™ account and Approved Applicants can access Post-Decision features such as Contracts<\/a>, Reporting<\/a>, or Invoices and Payments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you aren\u2019t using those features, you don\u2019t need to \u2018notify\u2019 the Applicants (and you can disregard the remainder of this class). If you DO intend to use any of the Post-Decision features you\u2019ll need to \u2018notify\u2019 the Approved Applicants.<\/p>\n

How To Set It Up<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We\u2019ve made it easy to \u2018notify\u2019 Applicants of the Official Decisions made. Here are the ways that you can get the word out:<\/p>\n

Notify Applicants Via Email<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Dashboard > Applications Tab OR Application Status chart<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. From the Applications List<\/a>, select the applications for which you\u2019d like to send your notifications.<\/li>\n
  2. Click the Send Email to Selected<\/a> button.<\/li>\n
  3. Create your email.<\/li>\n
  4. Check the \u2018Notified\u2019 box in the Options to send the email and mark the applications as \u2018notified\u2019 at the same time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Notify Applicants Via The Applications List<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Dashboard > Applications Tab OR Application Status chart<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. From the Dashboard, click into the Applications list (via the Applications tab or one of Application Status charts).<\/li>\n
    2. Scroll to the bottom and click the List Update<\/a> button.<\/li>\n
    3. For the field to edit, select Official Decisions and Amounts.<\/li>\n
    4. Click the Update Now button.<\/li>\n
    5. When the page reloads, check the appropriate boxes in the column on the right to \u2018notify\u2019 each applicant.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
