application, the contract is digitally signed by an administrator and up to two applicant or collaborator users.<\/p><p>The digital signatures include the signer&#8217;s signature text, their IP address, and the timestamp of the signature.\u00a0 Once all parties have signed, the contract text cannot be \t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Give the feature a <a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/tab-labels\/\">Tab Label<\/a>. Add any Instructions for your applicants.<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t\t<\/div><!-- \/tabs-2 -->\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-tabs -->\r\n    \t\t<ol><li><strong>Add your contract text<\/strong>. This will be the <em>template<\/em> for the contracts created in individual applications. Use merge fields as placeholders for information that is unique to each applicant, such as the application title, award amount, and answers to <a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/internal-research\/\">Internal Research Questions<\/a>. When the text is copied into each application, those merge fields will be filled with the appropriate information from that application.<\/li><li><strong>Add the signature instructions<\/strong>, which tell your applicants what information they need to enter when they sign the contract.<ul><li>If you&#8217;d like to require\u00a0two<em>\u00a0<\/em>applicant signatures to lock the contract, enter signature instructions for a second signer as well. If you leave that field blank, only one signature will be required from the applicant side.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--alert   hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tRequiring two applicant signatures in the contract will apply to that entire program &#8211; all applications will need two signatures on the applicant side before the contract for each application will lock.    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t<h4>Creating a Contract in an Individual Application<\/h4>    \t\t<div class=\"hts-tabs \"  >\r\n    \t\t\t<ul class=\"hts-tabs__nav\" role=\"tablist\">\r\n    \t\t\t\t    \t\t\t\t\t<li data-tab=\"#tabs-1\" class=\"hts-tabs__tab hts-tabs__tab--active\" role=\"tab\">Contract Tab<\/li>\r\n    \t\t\t\t    \t\t\t<\/ul>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<div id=\"tabs-1\" class=\"hts-tabs__content hts-tabs__content--active\" role=\"tabpanel\">\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-tabs__contentwrap\">\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Click into the Contract tab in an individual application that has been officially <a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/decisions-voting\/\">approved<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/notify-applicants\/\">notified<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t\t<\/div><!-- \/tabs-1 -->\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-tabs -->\r\n    \t\t<ol><li><strong>Click the Copy From Template button<\/strong> to bring the contract text from the Contract tab in Program Setup into the application. The merge field placeholders will be populated with the relevant data from that application.<\/li><li><strong>Make any changes<\/strong>, as necessary. (The Copy From Template button will be disabled after you click it once to bring the new text into the contract field, which will help you avoid inadvertently re-copying the text and erasing your changes. If you need to copy the text from the template a second time, refresh the page, then click the Copy From Template button again.)<\/li><li><strong>Make the tab and the text viewable<\/strong> to the applicant by selecting \u2018Yes\u2019 from the Viewable dropdown.
