{"id":1316,"date":"2018-10-02T00:01:44","date_gmt":"2018-10-02T06:01:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=1316"},"modified":"2020-06-25T11:24:32","modified_gmt":"2020-06-25T17:24:32","slug":"settings","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/settings\/","title":{"rendered":"Settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Program Setup, the <strong>Settings<\/strong> tab houses the general settings for a program, including overall settings, program module on\/off toggles, applicant settings, and publishing settings.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #bc6d1a; color: #ffffff;\">Program Setup &gt; Settings Tab<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #bc601a;\">Availability Settings<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; Your program will &#8216;Close&#8217; and stop accepting applications at midnight (Pacific) at the end of this day.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open to Apply Date\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; Your program will &#8216;Open&#8217; and start accepting applications at midnight (Pacific) at the beginning of this day.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Availability Status\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; Determines whether a program is open or closed, based on the open and deadline dates. \r\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion \"  >\r\n\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__section hts-accordion__section--active\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__title\">Waiting to Open<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__content\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__contentwrap\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t\tThis is the default setting. When you are finished setting up your program and you are ready for it go live when your open date arrives, change this to \"Open.\"\t    \t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__section \">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__title\">Open<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__content\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__contentwrap\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t\tOn this setting, your program will go live when the open date arrives and will close automatically when the deadline passes. <em>By changing the Availability Status to \"Open\", you indicate that you have reviewed all of your settings and content and that the setup is exactly as you want it to be.<\/em>\t    \t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__section \">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__title\">Closed<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__content\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__contentwrap\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t\tOn this setting, your program will close immediately. If your program has not yet opened, choosing \"Closed\" will prevent it from opening. font-size: 28px; font-weight: 600;\">General Applicant Settings<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Automatically Expand Tab Instructions<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0If you\u2019d like your applicants to automatically see the instructions at the top of every tab, choose \u2018Yes\u2019 in this setting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Multiple Applications Allowed<\/strong> \r\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion \"  >\r\n\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__section hts-accordion__section--active\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__title\">Unlimited<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__content\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__contentwrap\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t\tBy default, applicants can create and submit an unlimited number of applications within a program.\t    \t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__section \">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__title\">1-9<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__content\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hts-accordion__contentwrap\">\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t\t\tLimit the number of applications for that program that can be created in each applicant account.\t    \t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-accordion -->\r\n    \t\t<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automatically Lock Submitted Applications<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Hide Activity Log\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0If your organization intends to use the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #bc601a;\"><a style=\"color: #bc601a;\" title=\"Activity Log\" href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/activity-log\/\">Activity Log<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to track internal activities, you might consider hiding the Log from applicants.    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--success  hts-messages--withtitle hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t<span class=\"hts-messages__title\">Standard Hidden Fields Never Shown to Applicants<\/span>    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tRegardless of the visibility of the Activity Log, applicants can <strong>never<\/strong>\u00a0see any Private Notes, Scores, Votes, or Trial Decisions, and can only see the Official Decision when you decide to\u00a0<span style=\"color: #bc601a;\"><a style=\"color: #bc601a;\" title=\"Notify Applicants\" href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/notify-applicants\/\">\u2018notify\u2019<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>them.    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t<\/li>\n<li><strong>Character Limit\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 Sets the limit for all new paragraph questions created.\u00a0<i>This does not change the character limit on\u00a0existing paragraph questions, and you can still set each paragraph question to have a unique character limit.<\/i><\/li>\n<li><strong>Extra Tab Label\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0Administrators and committee chairs can pose follow-up or \u2018extra\u2019 questions on specific applications using the\u00a0<a title=\"Extra\/Follow Up\" href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/extra-tab\/\"><span style=\"color: #bc601a;\">Extra<\/span><\/a>\u00a0tab<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Publishing\/Sharing Settings<\/h2>\n<p>If you choose not to use the Friendly URL, find the link or HTML code for your program in this section.
