How to Set it Up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Add the New Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Programs > Add a Program Tab\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Add the New Program<\/a>\u00a0and provide\u00a0it a title under Program Setup within that program.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Update Administrators<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Account Settings > Manage Users Tab > Add A New User Tab\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Add any new administrators under the ‘Manage Users’ tab under Account Settings.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Navigate to Departments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Account Settings > Account Details Tab > Manage Departments Tab > Add Department Tab\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Click into Account Details, then Manage Departments, then ‘Add Department’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Step 4: Add Department<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Account Settings > Account Details Tab > Manage Departments Tab > Departments Tab\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Provide a title and upload a logo, and select which admins\/reviewers will be associated with this ‘department’.\u00a0Be sure to click the final ‘Add Department’ button at the bottom!<\/em> You will then see the newly created Department in your Departments list.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Assign Admins & Departments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Program Setup > Settings Tab > Administrative Users\u00a0<\/em>>>\u00a0Departments\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Next, assign access to admins and designate each new program to the correct Department.\u00a0 Go in Program Setup, and scroll to the bottom of the Settings tab. Click the box under the ‘Access’ column next to the name of the administrator which you would like to provide access to that program.<\/p>\n

Admins then have two options for associating a department with each program:<\/p>\n

  1. Simple Department Label<\/li>\n
  2. True Department Association<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Simple Department Label<\/h4>\n

    This field is simply that – a field. Type in a department title to appear with your program title when your applicants view the online application, like this:<\/p>\n

    Here, “Community Development Department” is the simple department label.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

    True Department Association<\/h4>\n
