Learn more about it below.<\/p>\n<h2>How does ZoomGrants save my work?<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"wysiwyg-font-size-large wysiwyg-font-size-medium\">As you click through the fields, the system will automatically save your changes. This applies if you&#8217;re an\u00a0<strong>admin\u00a0<\/strong>setting up your program, an\u00a0<strong>applicant\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0<strong>collaborator<\/strong> entering your data into an application, or a\u00a0<strong>reviewer<\/strong> completing your review.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wysiwyg-font-size-large wysiwyg-font-size-medium\">You&#8217;ll see a quick flash of a &#8216;Saving&#8217; screen that will indicate that your update is being saved. When it disappears, that field has been updated and you can move on to the next field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--success   hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tWhen you input text into a text field then click outside of that field, you&#8217;ll see that &#8220;Saving&#8230;&#8221; screen flash and your answer will be saved. Similarly, when you make a selection in a multiple choice or checkbox question field, the &#8220;Saving&#8230;&#8221; screen will flash and your answer will be saved.    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t\n<p><strong>Applicants<\/strong>: You don&#8217;t need to click a &#8216;save&#8217; button, nor should you archive an application (unless you don&#8217;t intend to submit it). You can log out and log back in as many times as you need to, to finish the application!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reviewers<\/strong>: You don&#8217;t have to click a button to save and send your scores to \u00a0the administrator. Your review is saved as you input it, so the admin can see your selection in the review fields as you progress through the applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admins<\/strong>: Changes made in your programs will be saved instantly and automatically, with a few exceptions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/adding-questions\/\">Adding new questions<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/adding-questions\/\">Editing existing questions<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/documents\/\">Creating new document requests<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Saving Formatted\u00a0vs. Unformatted Text<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"wysiwyg-font-size-large wysiwyg-font-size-medium\">If you&#8217;re copying and pasting text from a different location into the fields on ZG, be sure that you are pasting\u00a0<strong>unformatted text only<\/strong><em>.\u00a0<\/em>Special characters and formatting can prevent a proper save.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--info   hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t<strong>Admins<\/strong> can use HTML to add formatting to certain fields in the application. Read more about that <a href=\"http:\/\/help.zoomgrants.com\/index.php\/zgu\/html-formatting\/\">here<\/a>.    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t\n<h3>Browser Extensions<\/h3>\n<p>If you are using Grammarly or another browser extension to edit your text in ZoomGrants, please read this important note:<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-body article-body\">\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-text-align-center\"><span class=\"wysiwyg-color-red wysiwyg-font-size-medium\">The changes that you make in your text in the extension\u00a0interface\u00a0<strong>may not be\u00a0automatically\u00a0saved<\/strong>\u00a0in ZoomGrants.\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wysiwyg-color-black\">To ensure that your updates are saved after you have closed the extension pop-up, click back into the text box on ZoomGrants and add a space to the end of the text, then click outside the box.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wysiwyg-color-black\">You should see the flash of the \u2018Saving\u2019 screen to verify that your update, including all of the changes that you made in Grammarly or the other extension, was saved.
