Applicants: Missed Deadline
Contents
Each ZoomGrants program that accepts applications has an established deadline. Due to the nature of the application process, deadlines can be missed by applicants. The following article covers ZoomGrants program deadlines in full detail.
1. Deadlines are established by the Funding Organization, not ZoomGrants. ZoomGrants staff is not authorized to extend deadlines or accept late applications. All deadline decisions are at the full discretion of the Funding Organization. The Funding Organization can be contacted directly via the ‘Contact Admin’ button within your application.
2. ZoomGrants tracks meta data with each application record. The meta data allows us to determine if the required application content, established by the Funding Organization, was filled out and complete prior to submission.
This data is accessible by the Funding Organization and ZoomGrants staff. This data can be used to determine if a deadline extension is warranted.
3. ZoomGrants tracks each time the the Submit Now button is clicked and the missing data that prevented an application from being submitted before the deadline.
This data is accessible by the Funding Organization and ZoomGrants staff. This data can be used to determine if a deadline extension is warranted.
4. Once the established deadline date and time arrive, each un-submitted application will be locked. Locked applications cannot be submitted.
5. Un-submitted applications to programs that Close are automatically archived in ZoomGrants applicant accounts. Archived applications can only be restored if the Funding Organization decides to unlock the application.
